Controversy About Curse of the Lake Monster Image
Advertising at it's best. You know how there are supposed to be subliminal images in movies and ads? Well, this one is in Curse of the Lake Monster. When you look at this attached picture, under Velma's left armpit, people are saying it looks like a male body part. In reality, it is just Daphne's knee. Scooby-Doo Comic #7 Recalled
Comic retailers have been asked by DC Comics to destroy copies of Scooby-Doo #7 shipping tomorrow for Wednesday sale. Replacement copies will arrive for March 16th sale.

Why the book has been recalled in this fashion, hasn’t been made clear. Past examples have included characters clearly using inappropriate words and also shipping with the wrong bar code. So, you know, it could be anything.

Expect those who do manage to snag a copy to pay very careful attention to every single panel trying to find the reason… and then slapping them on eBay.
